Big Red Barn

The Barn is one of America’s “greenest buildings” with many passive energy saving features and use of fire-safe and reclaimed materials. In the tradition of the “great camps” built at the turn of the century, it uses local natural and reclaimed materials including redwood from a disassembled barn and wood from disassembled barracks at Camp San Luis Obispo. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms in the Barn, described separately on the Rooms page.
